Club Manager Mr C.Monigatti advised the track was lightly harrowed on Monday December 17th  2018.

 Thomeli Kicks was quick to begin. Kathleen's Kiss and Kantilla were slow to begin.

Travel Agent checked off Thomeli Kicks soon after the start. Kantilla galloped on the heels of Travel Agent approaching the first turn, Berlin raced wide approaching the first turn. Kantilla checked off Travel Agent on the first turn. Travel Agent checked off Thomeli Kicks approaching the home turn.

A pre race sample was taken from Persian Oasis.

Lulumon and Cee bay were slow to begin.

Cee Bay checked off Lulumon soon after the start. Expresso Love and Lulumon collided approaching the first turn. Persian Oasis and Yep Yep collided on the first turn checking Miss Klara. Persian Oasis and Yep yep collided several times approaching the home turn checking Persian Oasis. 

Persian Oasis was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a soft tissue injury to the left lower limb, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Zanzeedoo was slow to begin. Foxzami Thriller was very slow to begin (3L).

Ledgerwood Libby and Star Reiko collided soon after the start. Cooper Dan and Star Reiko collided on the first turn checking Cooper Dan. Zanzeedoo checked off Cooper Dan approaching the home turn. Boston Quay raced wide on the home turn.

My American Girl was quick to begin.

Ball Bearing and Splash Of Blue collided approaching the first turn. Flying Action checked off Kiwi Collision on the first turn. Kiwi Collision checked off Splash Of Blue entering the home straight and collided with Ball Bearing.

Bageera was slow to begin.

Tyche Diamond checked off the heels of Great Success on the first turn.

Night King and  Topaz Warrior were  slow to begin.

Night King, Stavros and Banjo fever collided approaching  the first turn checking Stavros and Banjo Fever. Wilbur Deeds and Elevated collided on the first turn.Topaz Warrior and Chasing James collided on the first turn checking Chasing James. Topaz Warrior and Night King collided several times in the home straight. Banjo Fever raced wide in the home straight.

Fess Crockett and Alta Linea collided approaching the first turn checking Lireva. Lireva checked off Miracles Happen on the home turn. Fess Crockett and Alta Linea collided on the home turn. 

A sample was taken from My Bro Lewis - the winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr P.Presutto, the trainer of Reckoning regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Reckoning  last raced on 14 September 2018. Mr Presutto stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following an injury to the right back muscle.

Pure White Evil was slow to begin.

Pure White Evil and Reckoning collided approaching the first turn. Reckoning, Joraddi  and Sure To Excite collided on the first turn checking Joraddi. Xtreme Purpose and Pure White Evil collided on the first turn. Reckoning and Sure To Excite collided approaching the home turn checking Sure To Excite and Joraddi.

A sample was taken from Bingo Boon - the winner of the event.

Jar Man, Veracity and Cosmic Ann collided on the first turn checking Veracity and Cosmic Ann. Italian Plastic, Cosmic Act and Lucille Dior collided approaching the home turn checking Cosmic Act. Searching and Cosmic Act collided approaching the home turn. Cosmic Ann raced wide on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr P.Presutto, the trainer of Uprising regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Uprising last raced on 22 August 2018.. Mr Presutto stated the greyhound was resuming racing following a left hind broken toe.

Dyna Winkler and Bobby Tokaam was slow to begin.

Uprising, Mustang Bay, Let Him Ride, St.Pauli and Dyna Winkler collided on the first turn checking Mustang Bay and severely checking Let Him Ride and St. Pauli, causing both greyhounds to fall.

St Pauli was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the whip muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Let Him Ride was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right radius ulna fracture, and was humanely euthanased.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Ledgerwood Road trialled over the 390 from box 8 ,weight 28.3kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4.The time of the trial was 21.98,( hand timed) the greyhound won by a margin of 7.5L. Ledgerwood Road was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Hunt, the trainer of Thomeli Tash regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Thomeli Tash last raced on 14th March 2018. Mr Hunt stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Mr Hunt declared a new weight of 30.6kg for the greyhound. Thomeli Tash last raced at 28.7kg. Thomeli Tash trialled over the 390mts from box 1, weight 30.6kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The trial was hand timed at 21.98, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7.5L. Thomeli Tash was Cleared.
