Steward's Report
Ms. N. McRae the trainer of Valar Morghulis declared a new weight of 29..6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Valar Morghulis last raced at 28.0kg.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. M. Campbell the trainer of Berry Bound regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Berry Bound last raced on 11/09/18. Mrs. Campbell stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injured left monkey muscle and left hip.
A pre-race sample was taken from More Despondent upon arrival on course, prior to kennelling.
Emilio's Jet and Blistering Betty were quick to begin. Chiming In and Berry Bound were slow to begin. Hurricane Billie and Berry Bound collided on the home turn. Hurricane Billie, Chiming In and More Despondent raced wide in the home straight.
