Stewards spoke to Mrs. M. Campbell the trainer of Berry Bound regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Berry Bound last raced on 11/09/18.  Mrs. Campbell stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injured left monkey muscle and left hip.

Mayle the representative for Eau Rouge regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.  Eau Rouge was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 9, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to both monkey muscles, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) Stewards charged Eau Rouge with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury.  Ms. Mayle plead guilty to the charge, Eau Rouge was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Selleck the representative for Mahjong Magic regarding the greyhound's racing manners from the home turn to entering the home straight.  Mahjong Magic was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 10, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to both pencil muscles, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) Stewards charged Mahjong Magic with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury.  Mrs. Selleck pleaded guilty to the charge, Mahjong Magic was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
