Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Charlott's Angel.
Let's Run was quick to begin.
White Minion and Simply Smarter collided soon after the start and approaching the first turn checking White Minion. No Road eased on the first turn. No Road and Why Not Hugh collided approaching the winning post checking No Road.
No Road was vetted and re-vetted following event 12. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left wrist sprain, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr T. Burns, the representative of the greyhound No Road regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged No Road with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Burns pleaded not guilty to the charge, No Road was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
