Steward's Report
Small Rose was quick to begin.
Karaka, Flying Danger, Bont's Magic and Ivey's Affair collided soon after the start checking Flying Danger, Bont's Magic and Ivey's Affair. Flying Danger, Bont's Magic and Rockin' Joe collided on the second turn. Ivey's Affair raced wide in the home turn.
Mrs C. Haigh the trainer of Small Rose requested the greyhound be vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right front digit, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr R. Moles regarding the direction that the greyhound Karaka be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
