Flashy De Goey was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left and right hocks, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Rapid Belle Noir and Lightwood Lass collided soon after the start checking Rapid Belle Noir.  Voluptuous Ruby and Lightwood Lass collided on the first turn checking Lightwood Lass.  Voluptuous Ruby crossed to the outside on the first turn.  Dyna Reaver checked off Valhalla Girl on the first turn and again on the second turn.  Rapid Belle Noir checked off Hip Hippy Shake on the third turn.  Hip Hippy Shake checked off Dyna Reaver on the third turn.  Rapid Belle Noir and Hip Hippy Shake collided approaching the home turn checking Rapid Belle Noir.

Vanishka, Superior Faith and Grande Fratello collided soon after the start checking Vanishka and Superior Faith.  Vanishka galloped on Zipping Maisy on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Data Star and Grande Fratello collided on the third turn.

Zipping Maisy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Dyna Arrow engaged in this event on 3 December 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre-race sample was taken from Desiree Dancer.

Holly's Affair and Kimani collided soon after the start checking Holly's Affair.  Penny Worth, Dyna Arrow and Kimani collided approaching the first turn.  Penny Worth and Dyna Arrow collided several times on the first turn checking Penny Worth, Dyna Arrow, Kimani and Roland View.  Roland View and Penny Worth collided on the home turn.

Mrs C. Haigh the trainer of Small Rose requested the greyhound be vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right front digit, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr R. Moles regarding the direction that the greyhound Karaka be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Charlott's Angel.

Let's Run was quick to begin.

White Minion and Simply Smarter collided soon after the start and approaching the first turn checking White Minion.  No Road eased on the first turn.  No Road and Why Not Hugh collided approaching the winning post checking No Road.

No Road was vetted and re-vetted following event 12.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left wrist sprain, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr T. Burns, the representative of the greyhound No Road regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged No Road with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Burns pleaded not guilty to the charge, No Road was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Buckle Up York was quick to begin.

Pistol and Ebonique collided soon after the start checking Ebonique.  Bide Your Time crossed in on the first turn checking Buckle Up York, Birkenhead, Full Moon and Totally Fab.   Buckle Up York, Birkenhead and Full Moon collided approaching the home turn checking Birkenhead.  Buckle Up York and Birkenhead collided entering the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Blackpool Alexis.

Buck The Jockey and New Fire Girl were slow to begin.

Fiesty Girl and Blackpool Alexis collided approaching the first turn checking Fiesty Girl.  Qatar Girl, Taxing and Miss Dozer collided on the first turn checking Qatar Girl and Taxing.  Blackpool Alexis faltered on the home turn and subsequently fell severely checking Fiesty Girl which fell checking Miss Dozer and Riverdale Sugar.  New Fire Girl and Riverdale Sugar collided in the home straight.

Fiesty Girl was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Blackpool Alexis was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a rock hock injury and was humanely euthanised.

Following the event, Stewards inspected the track in the vicinity of where the incident involving Blackpool Alexis took place and deemed the track safe to continue racing.

Buckle Up Leo, Mini Dozer and Early Express were slow to begin.

Buckle Up Leo and Fiesty Ivy collided on the first turn checking Buckle Up Leo.  Jayanti and Cartwheel Chloe collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Mini Dozer and Early Express raced wide on the home turn.  Mini Dozer raced wide in the home straight.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr I. Anderson, the trainer of Black Eclipse regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Black Eclipse last raced on 7 January 2018 and is returning to racing from a left wrist injury.   Pursuant to GAR 77A, Black Eclipse trialled over the 311mtrs from box 1, weight 31.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.86, the greyhound won by a margin of 3/4 of a length. Black Eclipse was Not Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) Returning from retirement - Stewards spoke to Mr L. Karabitsakos, the trainer of Master Rico regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Master Rico last raced on 14 September 2018 and is returning to racing from retirement. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Master Rico trialled over the 311mtrs from box 8, weight 33.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.86, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6 3/4 lengths. Master Rico was Cleared. The greyhound suffered severe interference during the running of this event. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Stealthy Flight trialled over the 311mtrs from box 3, weight 27.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.86, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7 3/4 lengths. Stealthy Flight was Cleared. The greyhound suffered severe interference during the running of this event.
