Lethal Levi contacted the running rail on the first turn checking Cruzin' and Riverina Miss and severely checking Lethal Levi and Our Centurion. Cruzin' checked off Mother Monster on the first turn checking Dyna Drew and causing Cruzin' and Dyna Drew to race wide.
Lethal Levi was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to its left hind leg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Cruzin' performed below market expectations and was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 5, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shin. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke with Ms.N. Lund regarding the greyhound's performance. Ms. Lund stated that the greyhound wasn't as quick out of the boxes as she had been at her previous starts and found significant interference soon after the start and on the first turn.
