Steward's Report
Radiant Angel and Dyna Carmen were quick to begin. Han Solo, Ace Allen and Dyna Francine were slow to begin.
Pandaken, Pagan Dancer and Coco Spectre collided soon after the start. Pagan Dancer and Coco Spectre collided on the first turn. Ace Allen and Dyna Francine collided on the first turn. Pandaken and Pagan Dancer collided in the front straight. Pandaken checked off Dyna Carmen on the third turn. Radiant Angel eased, shifted out and collided with Pandaken approaching the finishing line.
Stewards spoke to Mr B. Mackie, the trainer of the greyhound Radiant Angel regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Radiant Angel was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained right shoulder and right hip support soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Radiant Angel with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Mackie pleaded guilty to the charge, Radiant Angel was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
