Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr G. Condon, the representative of Form A Circle regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Form A Circle last raced on 15 April 2018. Mr. Condon stated that the greyhound was resuming following a change of kennel. Mr. Condon also declared a new weight of 30.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Form A Circle last raced at 29.4kg.
Grey Ghost and Tritt Tritt collided soon after the start. So It Goes and Tritt Tritt collided on the first turn checking Grey Ghost. Gordette and Rocky Ravioli collided approaching the second turn. Gordette and Tritt Tritt collided on the second turn checking Gordette and Carltonian. Grey Ghost and Carltonian collided on the third turn and again approaching the home turn.
A post-race sample was taken from Tritt Tritt - winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Ms K. Burnett the representative of the greyhound Rocky Ravioli and advised her to make sure that the greyhound’s rug is fitted correctly prior to boxing the greyhound in future events.
