Steward's Report
A sample upon arrival to the course was unable to be obtained from Ace Victorem; a subsequent pre-race sample was taken from Ace Victorem.
Ace Victorem, Boquilla, Flying Joker and Myrniong And All were quick to begin. Wanjiro and Valita were slow to begin.
Boquilla and Myrniong And All collided approaching the first turn. Ace Victorem and Platelayer collided on the first turn, checking Ace Victorem. Flying Joker and Elite Ollie collided on the first turn. Wanjiro galloped on Ace Victorem on the first turn, checking Valita, Flying Joker and Elite Ollie.
Stewards noted that several ducks were on the track entering the home straight during the race and held the announcement of All Clear until all available footage could be viewed. Stewards were satisfied that the ducks had dispersed before any greyhound entered the home straight.
Samples were taken from Boquilla, the winner of the event, and Myrniong And All, the second place-getter in the event.
