Lucy's Otis, Vanna Allen and Quick Transition collided on the home turn, checking Quick Transition. Quara's Destiny and Quick Transition collided several times in the home straight, checking both greyhounds.

Know Success was slow to begin. Ebby Lamar and Quara's Beth collided approaching the first turn. Viking Vince galloped on the heels of Quara's Beth on the first turn, checking Viking Vince and Quara's Beth, and severely checking Vibe. Ebby Lamar checked off Uma Allen on the the first turn. Ebby Lamar and Uma Allen collided on the home turn, causing Uma Allen to race wide. 

Vibe was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder and right triangle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Percy's Curse and Pa's Girl were slow to begin. Sunlit Breaker and Ear We Come collided soon after the start, checking Sunlit Breaker. Quick Session and Riverina Miss collided on the first turn. Ear We Come, Tashendo and Percy's Curse collided on the first turn, checking Tashendo and Percy's Curse. Quick Session, Riverina Miss and Ear We Come collided on the first turn, checking Riverina Miss and Ear We Come. Percy's Curse and Quick Session collided on the home turn, checking Quick Session which clipped the heels of More Moment. Tashendo raced wide on the home turn. 

Sunlit Breaker was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained sustained split webbing to the left front paw, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Limburg Gunna was quick to begin. Raweenie was slow to begin. Blackjack Cruise, Nitro Value, Bomber's Return, Limburg Gunna and Eminence collided approaching the first turn, checking Blackjack Cruise, Nitro Value and Limburg Gunna. Blackjack Cruise and Nitro Value collided on the first turn, checking Blackjack Cruise, Raweenie and Night Theory. Blackjack Cruise galloped on the heels of Nitro Value approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Nitro Value checked off Night Theory on the home turn. 

Night Theory fell in the catching pen, and was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, and spike wounds to both hind legs and both fore legs,a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Fat Rhino was slow to begin. Banjo Fever, El Grand Knocka and South Of Eden collided soon after the start. Samsonite and Quartz Vein collided soon after the start. El Grand Knocka checked off the heels of South of Eden entering the back straight, checking Fat Rhino. Banjo Fever, Samsonite, Quartz Vein and El Grand Knocka collided in the back straight, checking El Grand Knocka and Samsonite. Banjo Fever and Quartz Vein collided approaching the second turn, checking Quartz Vein. El Grand Knocka, Quartz Vein and Samsonite collided on the second turn, checking El Grand Knocka and Quartz Vein. 

Wilbury and Silly Milly were slow to begin. Jacobite Joseph went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Knocker's Gold and Quara's Emma collided approaching the first turn. Fawn Secrets, Blue Bar Pie, Silly Milly and Quara's Emma collided on the first turn, checking Blue Bar Pie and Fawn Secrets. Silly Milly and Quara's Emma collided approaching the home turn, checking Quara's Emma. Quara's Emma galloped on the heels of Silly Milly approaching the home turn, checking Fawn Secrets and Blue Bar Pie, and severely checking Silly Milly. Knocker's Gold raced wide approaching the winning post.

Blue Hunter and Rebecca Bale were quick to begin. Zipping Inglis and Merc collided soon after the start. Merc and Two Phils Cool collided approaching the first turn, checking Merc. Two Phils Cool galloped on the heels of Rebecca Bale on the first turn, checking Two Phils Cool, Rebecca Bale and Merc. Billy Moran checked off Merc entering the home straight. Blue Hunter and Not Onya Own collided in the home straight.

Stacey Keeping was quick to begin. Myrtle Grange and Parvati Grange collided soon after the start. Little Women and Fast Trapper collided approaching the first turn, checking Little Women. Piriformis, Myrtle Grange and Fast Trapper collided on the first turn, checking Myrtle Grange. Piriformis and Fast Trapper collided approaching the home turn. Little Women galloped on the heels of Myrtle Grange approaching the home turn. Parvati Grange checked off Myrtle Grange in the home straight, and raced wide. 

A pre race sample was taken from Lyka Skywalker.

Destini Agitator and Lyka Skywalker were quick to begin. Ryben Jack and Run It Straight collided approaching the first turn. Destini Agitator and Speed Star collided on the first turn. Lyka Skywalker checked off Speed Star approaching the home turn. 

This race was delayed by approximately 3 minutes to allow for the track to be cleared.

Faster Bolt and Bobby Tokaam were slow to begin. Faster Bolt stumbled soon after the start. Yenderra Blue crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Bobby Tokaam, Angel Cloud and My Mate Wally. Dyna Hinkley checked off Minnesota Lee approaching the first turn. My Mate Wally and Faster Bolt collided on the first turn, checking Faster Bolt.

Faster Bolt was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Mr M.Niele, the trainer of Osti"s Sprite regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Osti"s Sprite  last raced on 6 May 2018. Mr Niele stated that  the greyhound was resuming racing after suffering a dislocated left hind toe.

My Lil' Angel was quick to begin. Shimmy Dat Ray and Squirto were slow to begin. Shimmy Dat Ray stumbled soon after the start, and lost considerable ground as a result. Hollywood Pearl checked off Osti's Sprite approaching the home turn, and again on the home turn. Osti's Sprite checked off Chrissy Pee on the home turn, checking Hollywood Pearl.

Shimmy Dat Ray was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to both hindlegs. No stand down period was imposed.
