Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr J Holt (representing trainer, Ms Katrina Evans), regarding the length of time Mister Blue has had between races. Mister Blue last raced at Geelong on 20th February, 2018. Mr Holt stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a change of kennels. Mr Holt also declared a new weight of 32.6kg for the greyhound. Mister Blue last raced at 34.0kg.
A pre-race sample was taken from Miss Kirteish.
Charlotte Allen and Clavash collided soon after the start, checking Charlotte Allen. Starbright Kate and Proven Strudel collided soon after the start, checking Starbright Kate. Angel Of Glory, Here's The Trump, Proven Strudel and Clavash collided approaching the first turn, checking Starbright Kate. Clavash checked off Here's The Trump on the first turn. Mr. Holt stated that a new training environment in Ms Katrina Evans kennels gave the greyhound an opportunity to freshen up after a lengthy spell. Stewards noted the explanation of Mr Holt and directed a sample be taken from the greyhound.
