Starry's Lad underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a mild spike wound to the right hind foot. No stand down period was imposed.

Abyssal and Lena Lake collided soon after the start. Nigel Allen and Nicmac Paddywack collided approaching the first turn. Don't Mind Me visibly eased on the first turn and collided with Nigel Allen. Lena Lake and Don't Mind Me collided approaching the second turn. Lena Lake and Nigel Allen collided approaching the third turn and on the third turn. Aston Atley and Don't Mind Me collided entering the home straight and in the home straight checking Don't Mind Me.

Don't Mind Me underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right pencil muscle and right triangle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. S. Stiff, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Don't Mind Me was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Stiff pleaded guilty to the charge, Don't Mind Me must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

New Wave was slow to begin.

Super Blu crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Ace Allen, New Wave and Angry Trip. New Wave and Angry Trip collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.

Kraken Tan and Dyna Dixon were slow to begin.

Fabelite, Gunai Whisper and Zipping Spud collided soon after the start checking Kraken Tan and severely checking Gunai Whisper. Fabelite galloped on the heels of Through approching the home turn severely checking Through and Dyna Dixon. Gunai Whisper and Kraken Tan collided approaching the home turn. Gunai Whisper raced wide on the home turn. Dyna Dixon and Kraken Tan collided in the home straight. 

Gunai Whisper underwent a post race veterinary examination and  was found to have superficial abrasions to the right front foreleg. No stand down period was imposed.

Side Hustle – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Bendigo for failing to pusue the lure. Weighing 25.5kg and beginning from box 1, Side Hustle completed the 425mt trial distance in a time of 24.71. Side Hustle placed 3rd in a field of 4 beaten by 3L. Side Hustle has been cleared to race at all tracks.
