Scenic Warrior was slow to begin.
Fletcher Jay and Aston Lindop collided soon after he start checking Aston Lindop. Fletcher Jay, Kiss Mwah and Pure Magic collided approaching the first turn checking Kiss Mwah and Pure Magic. Aston Lindop and Kiss Mwah collided on the first turn. Scenic Warrior contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Weblec Fire raced wide to the home turn. Fletcher Jay and Pure Magic collided several times on the home turn and in the home straight severely checking both greyhounds and both greyhounds stumbled as a result.
