Steward's Report
Abyssal and Lena Lake collided soon after the start. Nigel Allen and Nicmac Paddywack collided approaching the first turn. Don't Mind Me visibly eased on the first turn and collided with Nigel Allen. Lena Lake and Don't Mind Me collided approaching the second turn. Lena Lake and Nigel Allen collided approaching the third turn and on the third turn. Aston Atley and Don't Mind Me collided entering the home straight and in the home straight checking Don't Mind Me.
Don't Mind Me underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right pencil muscle and right triangle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. S. Stiff, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Don't Mind Me was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Stiff pleaded guilty to the charge, Don't Mind Me must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
