Steward's Report
Facing The Music was quick to begin. Sweet Gabriella was slow to begin.
One Thrill, Bayonet and Sweet Gabriella collided soon after the start checking Bayonet and Sweet Gabriella. One Thrill galloped on Limerick Icon on the first turn checking Staggerism, severely checking Limerick Icon, One Thrill and Mindil Beach. Looby Sky and Staggerism collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.
Limerick Icon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left and right calf muscles. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
