Steward's Report

Cornhill Rebel and Takis bale were slow to begin. Ted's Dream, Belt Up Libba and Winlock Sunshine collided soon after the start checking Belt Up Libba and Winlock Sunshine. Takis Bale and Make A sound collided on the first turn. Winlock Sunshine clipped the heels of Ted's Dream approaching the home turn checking Winlock Sunshine. Cornhill Rebel and Takis Bale collided entering the home straight. Winlock Sunshine clipped the heels of Misha Bale in the home straight. 

Belt Up Libba underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock and right chest injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Rowe, the trainer of Belt Up Libba and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. When making this decision Stewards took into consideration Mr Rowes submissions, all available footage, the injuries sustained by the greyhound and Stewards own observations.

A post-race sample was taken from Belt Up Libba, winner of the event.
