When making this decision Stewards took into consideration Mr Rowes submissions, all available footage, the injuries sustained by the greyhound and Stewards own observations.

Red Neck Miss underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Veetee Mist underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apprent injury could be detected. Ms. Minne declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted.

Stewards spoke to Ms. K. Minnie, the trainer of Veetee Mist regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching te first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Veetee Mist was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. Minnie pleaded not guilty to the charge, Veetee Mist is suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
