Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Scott Stefanos, the trainer of Proven Strudel, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Proven Strudel last raced on 3 September 2018. Mr Stefanos stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a change of kennels.
A pre-race sample was taken from Proven Strudel.
Saint Ray, Aston Boss and Proven Strudel collided approaching the first turn, checking Aston Boss and Proven Strudel. Aston Boss, Proven Strudel and Gene Man collided on the first turn, checking Proven Strudel. Trickeration and She's Wicked collided on the first turn, checking She's Wicked and forcing Kirabilli Poppy to race wide. Proven Strudel checked off Aston Boss approaching the home turn. Aston Boss galloped on Gene Man approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Gene Man and Proven Strudel collided on the home turn.
