Zipping Caesar, Zipping Dion, Rocky Ravioli and Sky Wesley collided soon after the start checking Rocky Ravioli.  You Aussie, By Your Side, Zipping Caesar and Zipping Dion collided approaching the first turn checking By Your Side and Zipping Caesar.  Sky Wesley and Zipping Dion collided approaching the first turn.  By Your Side, Zipping Caesar and Rocky Ravioli collided on the first turn checking Zipping Caesar and Rocky Ravioli.  Zipping Dion and Sky Wesley collided approaching the second turn.  Ishmy Girl checked off Sky Wesley on the second turn.  You Aussie contacted the running rail on the third turn.  Zipping Caesar and By Your Side collided approaching the home turn.  Rocky Ravioli checked off You Aussie approaching the home turn.  Ishmy Girl and Zipping Dion collided in the home straight.

Air Commander and Vrontios were slow to begin.

Whoomph, Air Commander and Spokane Flick collided soon after the start checking Air Commander.  Water Colour, Whoomph and Spokane Flick collided on the first turn checking Spokane Flick.  Spokane Flick and Whoomph collided approaching the first turn.  Whoomph and Air Commander collided on the second turn. 

Stewards spoke to Miss K. Heinrich the handler of Whoomph an issued a warning for her failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.

Fifty Dollar was a late scratching by Order of Stewards on the 5th February 2019 at 6:11pm after an inquiry was held with the trainer of the greyhound Mr. Shane Jack. As a result of the inquiry, Mr. Jack was immediately suspended in accordance with Local Racing Rule 11.14 and 11.16. Consequently, the greyhound Fifty Dollar was scratched in accordance with GAR 20(4).

Big Sam Marjen sand Mepunga Billy were slow to begin.

Champagne Luxe checked off Shanlyn Georgie approaching the first turn checking Mepunga Billy.  Dr. Sherlock checked off Azalea approaching the first turn.  Big Sam Marjen checked off Mercedes Red on the first turn checking Dr. Sherlock.  Champagne Luxe failed to pursue the lure with due commitment approaching the second turn severely checking Big Sam Marjen.  Marcello and Shanlyn Georgie collided on the second turn. 

Big Sam Marjen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right sesamoid injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr D. Chapman, the trainer of the greyhound Champagne Luxe regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the second turn.  Champagne Luxe was vetted and re-vetted following event. 10 It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist sprain, left and right deltoid injuries, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Champagne Luxe with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Chapman pleaded guilty to the charge, Champagne Luxe was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mepunga Debbie was slow to begin.

Midnight Mystery and So It Goes collided soon after the start.  Mayhem Breeze, Zipping Galon and So It Goes collided on the first turn causing Zipping Galon and Midnight Mystery to collide.  Zipping Galon, Midnight Mystery and Mepunga Debbie collided entering the front straight.  Mepunga Debbie checked off Zipping Galon entering the front straight.  Mayhem Breeze and So It Goes collided on the third turn.  Midnight Mystery and Mepunga Debbie collided approaching the fourth turn checking Midnight Mystery.  Mepunga Debbie checked off Mayhem Breeze on the fifth turn.  Mayhem Breeze and Mepunga Debbie collided entering the home straight.

Southern Ripple and Tritt Tritt collided soon after the start.  Duce Royal and Lucy's Milo collided soon after the start.  Lucy's Milo, Southern Ripple, Duce Royal and Tritt Tritt collided approaching the first turn checking Duce Royal and Tritt Tritt.  Kinloch Moss, Aston Utah and Shanlyn Magic collided on the first turn severely checking Shanlyn Magic which stumbled.  Tritt Tritt and Lucy's Milo collided on the second turn.  Southern Ripple and Aston Utah collided on the third turn.  Lucy's Milo and Southern Ripple collided several times on the home turn and entering the home straight.  Duce Royal and Little Big Shot collided on the home turn checking Little Big Shot.  

Duce Royal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a mild dermatitis infection, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Shanlyn Magic was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left and right deltoid injury and a right hip injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Oscar was slow to begin and checked off Dyna Hunter soon after the start.  Dyna Hunter and Belt Up Bubbs collided approaching the first turn.  Payton and Lagoon Rhett collided approaching the first turn.  Go Seek Heidi checked off Reiko Ablett approaching the first turn severely checking Dyna Hunter which stumbled.  Payton and Lagoon Rhett collided on the third turn.  Payton checked off Dyna Hunter entering the home straight.  Navajo Bear checked off Payton in the home straight.

Head Loch crossed to the rail approaching the first turn.  Head Loch and She's A Mitzi collided on the first turn checking She's A Mitzi and Saetta.  Why Not Archie, Wilbury, Miles Per Gallon and Vanda Mick collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds.  Why Not Archie and Vanda Mick collided approaching the second turn checking Vanda Mick.  Miles Per Gallon contacted the running rail entering the back straight.  She's A Mitzi and Saetta collided entering the back straight.  Miles Per Gallon and Why Not Archie collided in the back straight checking both greyhounds, Why Not Archie lost ground as a result.  Vanda Mick and Dyna Terror collided approaching the home turn.  

Mile Per Gallon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left and right deltoid injuries, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Kiss Me Razley and Winsome Fernando collided on the first turn checking Why Not Ginger, Dr. Mino and Kiss Me Razley. Dr. Mino checked off Winsome Fernando approaching the second turn.  Dr. Mino checked off Why Not Ginger on the third turn.  Diego Fernando checked off Lylah's Way approaching the winning post.

Aston Ranza stumbled at box rise.  Golden Devil, No Excuse and Winlock Dyno collided soon after the start checking No Excuse.  Golden Devil and Winlock Dyno collided approaching the first turn.  Ready And Armed and Pink Floyd collided approaching the first turn.  Winlock Dyno checked off Golden Devil approaching the first turn.  Our Didda raced wide on the second turn.  Aston Ranza checked off Blunderbuss entering the home straight.  Pink Floyd checked off Aston Ranza approaching the winning post.

Modified Trunk and Orleans were slow to begin.  

Zipping Bolt and Orleans collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Whip Allen and Duke Of Burnley collided approaching the first turn.  Modified Trunk checked off Fleur Delacour approaching the first turn.  Whip Allen, Duke Of Burnley, Modified Trunk and Rapid Road collided on the first turn severely checking Modified Trunk, Yoda and Zipping Bolt, causing Rapid Road to fall.  Whip Allen checked off Fleur Delacour entering the back straight.  Orleans and Whip Allen collided in the back straight and again in the home straight checking Whip Allen.

Rapid Road was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right tibia fracture, and was humanely euthanised.
