In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed Heat Affected. The outside temperature when kennels opened was 30.5 degrees. The kennel temperature was 20.0 degrees. The kennel temperature at close of kennels was 20.2 degrees.

Prior to this event the outside temperature was 31.3 degrees and the inside kennel temperature was 20.2 degrees.

Ms N. Lummas, representative of Northern Bowler declared a new weight of 30.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Northern Bowler last raced at 29.0kg.

Northern Bowler and Banjo Plato were slow to begin.

Northern Bowler crossed to the outside at the 250m mark. Banjo Plato checked off Testa Girl at the 100m mark. Northern Bowler faltered at the 100m mark.

Northern Bowler was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right deltoid muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Prior to this event the outside temperature was 31.8 degrees and the inside kennel temperature was 20.2 degrees.

Ms J. Power, trainer of Tippa Power declared a new weight of 33.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Tippa Power last raced at 31.9kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Tex Kingdom.

Tex Kingdom, Tippa Power and Racecourse Road collided soon after the start. Ko Rapid Jack and Rosta Power collided at the 150m mark. Lost Horizon and Tex Kingdom collided at the 100m mark checking Lost Horizon and Racecourse Road and severely checking Tex Kingdom who fell as a result.

Tex Kingdom was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right pencil muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Racecourse Road was vetted and after being re-vetted following Race 5, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards issued a warning to Mr J. Whybrow, the trainer of Racecourse Road regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.

Trophy Trophy and Lady Maximus collided at the 100m mark.

Mr. J. Hetherton, trainer of Tayla's Banjo declared a new weight of 32.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Tayla's Banjo last raced at 30.2kg.

Nut And Bolt and Lyka Skywalker collided soon after the start. Lyka Skywalker stumbled and faltered at the 250m mark checking Bring The Spring and Tayla's Banjo. Lyka Skywalker lost ground as a result and was subsequently tailed off.

Lyka Skywalker was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right metatarsal fracture, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Prior to this event the outside temperature was 33.7 degrees and the inside kennel temperature was 20.4 degrees.

Tanjil Ace was slow to begin.

Global Impact and Dirty Max collided soon after the start. Tanjil Ace contacted the running rail at the 300m mark. Dirty Max and Blazin' Bulla collided at the 200m mark. Global Impact checked off Toonang at the 150m mark. Rojo Ollie checked off Billy's Missile at the 100m mark.

A sample was taken from Global Impact - the winner of the event.

Tanjil Ace was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Aston Joyner, Aqualite, Aston Milla, Lady Mikado and Total Diva collided soon after the start. Aston Milla, Lady Mikado and Inter Santina collided at the 300m mark. Aqualite, Aston Milla and Lady Mikado collided at the 250m mark. Aqualite, Aston Milla, Lady Mikado and Inter Santina collided at the 200m mark. Aston Milla, Lady Mikado and Inter Santina collided at the 150m mark. Aston Joyner and Temporalis collided at the 150m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Donnelly, the trainer of Clover Lad regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Clover Lad last raced on the 28th October 2018. Mr Donelly stated that the greyhound was resuming racing from a right pectoral muscle injury. Mr Donnelly declared a new weight of 36.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Clover Land last raced at 34.7kg.

Piccolo Princess and Clover Lad collided soon after the start. Samba King, Vandebay, Where's Lola and Piccolo Princess collided at the 300m mark checking Vandebay. Why Not Senor and Piccolo Princess collided at the 150m mark.

Ima Rebel was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right deltoid muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Prior to this event the outside temperature was 35.0 degrees and the inside kennel temperature was 20.5 degrees.

Black Mumbo was a late scratching at 9.08am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr A. Karabitsakos was fined the sum of $100.

A pre-race sample was taken from Two Seasons.

Two Seasons, Pa's Girl and Princess Marjen collided at the 300m mark. Two Seasons and Pa's Girl collided at the 200m mark.

The judge inadvertently semaphored the incorrect numbers, this was corrected to 1-2-8-5 before the all clear was given.

Royal Solo was slow to begin.

Misty's Boy and Bluehawk Robert collided several times from the 300m mark to the 200m mark checking both greyhounds.

Prior to this event the outside temperature was 35.9 degrees and the inside kennel temperature was 20.7 degrees.

Maggie Mikado and Knocka Feller were quick to begin.

Knocka Feller checked off Bugs Boloney at the 250m mark.

Prior to this event the outside temperature was 36.5 degrees and the inside kennel temperature was 20.6 degrees.

Broadway Polka was slow to begin.

Broadway Polka and Subscapularis collided several times from soon after the start to the 200m mark. Subscapularis checked off Full Tilt at the 50m mark.

Prior to this event the outside temperature was 37.1 degrees and the inside kennel temperature was 20.7 degrees.

Senni Richard was a late scratching at 12:44pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to dehydration. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Claretown Boris.

Magic Trap and Undetectable collided at the 150m mark and again at the 50m mark. Undetectable checked off Magic Trap approaching the winning post.
