In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed Heat Affected. The outside temperature when kennels opened was 30.5 degrees. The kennel temperature was 20.0 degrees. The kennel temperature at close of kennels was 20.2 degrees.
Prior to this event the outside temperature was 31.3 degrees and the inside kennel temperature was 20.2 degrees.
Ms N. Lummas, representative of Northern Bowler declared a new weight of 30.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Northern Bowler last raced at 29.0kg.
Northern Bowler and Banjo Plato were slow to begin.
