Steward's Report
Crash Landing was slow to begin.
Only Wish, Ma Deuce and Amber's Dolly collided soon after the start. Ma Deuce and Agent Duke collided at the 250m mark. Agent Duke eased and collided with Ma Deuce at the 100m mark. Agent Duke checked off Ma Deuce at the 50m mark.
Stewards spoke to Mr Nathan Jenner, the owner/handler of the greyhound Agent Duke regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 100m mark. Agent Duke was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hip injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Agent Duke with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Jenner pleaded guilty to the charge, Agent Duke was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
