A pre race sample was taken from Gin Lee's Pride.
This event was started manually.
Zero Five, Dodge Coupe, Merl's Michu, Princess Parker and Ruby Gas collided soon after the start. Merl's Michu crossed out at the 200m mark and collided with Gin Lee's Pride and Princess Parker checking Gin Lees Pride. Gin Lee's Pride faltered and lost ground as a result.
Gin Lee's Pride was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Dodge Coupe was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left supraspinatus muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
