Rave On, On Billy's Wings and Bumble Bee Bolto collided on the first turn checking Bumble Bee Bolto. Gunmetal Liam and On Billy's Wings collided approaching the home turn. Tunision was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hind toe. A 5 day stand down period has been imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr V. Mileto, the representative of the greyhound Tunisian regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Tunisian with marring. Mr V. Mileto pleaded guilty to the charge, Tunisian was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
