Stewards spoke to Mrs Donna Dean, the trainer of Shotgun Shiloh regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Shotgun Shiloh last raced on 4th June 2018. Mrs Dean stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left ear injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Shotgun Shiloh.
Yaritza Allen and Mt. View Gift collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Mt. View Gift. Daisy Me Diggin', Aeroplane Bella and Blue Marie collided on the first turn checking Blue Marie and Aeroplane Bella causing Blue Marie, Aeroplane Bella and Mt. View Gift to collide. Aeroplane Bella and Blue Marie collided approaching the home turn checking Blue Marie. Mt. View Gift and Yaritza Allen collided in the home straight. Shotgun Shiloh and Yaritza Allen collided approaching the winning post.
