Roland View was slow to begin.
Raine Allen checked off Birkenhead on the first turn causing Raine Allen to contact the running rail colliding with Roland View severely checking both greyhounds and causing both greyhounds to lose ground, Qatar Girl, Marlow's Angel and Evie Girl collided as a result checking Qatar Girl and Evie Girl causing both greyhounds to lose ground.
Raine Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right thigh and a spike wound to the left thigh, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Roland View was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle injury and an abrasion to the left metatasal, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
