Steward's Report

Bera Na Liva and Bomber's Return were slow to begin.

Mr. Uggboot went up with the lids causing it to be slow to begin.

Platelayer and Balance collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn, Bomber's Return, Dewana Jayden, Bera Na Liva, Mr. Uggboot and Balance collided on the first turn severely checking Mr. Uggboot and Balance , Balance lost ground as a result. Bomber's Return checked off Aeroplane Mo on the home turn.

Balance was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hind leg spike wound. No stand down period was imposed.
