Miss Rampe, Dyna Helena and Major Style were slow to begin.
Miss Rampe checked off Super Panda soon after the start. Miss Rampe checked off Dyna Helena soon after the start. Super Panda and Krisbar Immy collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Rampe. Aston Collis checked off Dyna Helena on the first turn. Krisbar Immy , Dyna Helena and Major Style collided on the first turn, checking Krisbar Immy and Major Style, severely checking Aston Collis and Miss Rampe, causing both greyhounds to fall as a result. Krisbar Immy checked off Dyna Helena approaching the home turn.

Miss Rampe was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury and spike wounds to the left fore and back legs, a seven day stand down period was imposed.
Aston Collis was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right shoulder and elbow, and was humanely euthanased.
