Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Abela, the trainer of the greyhound Triple What regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the back straight. Triple What was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left wrist, right fore fan muscle, right pencil muscle and right triangle muscle. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Triple What with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Abela pleaded guilty to the charge, Triple What was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Duniam, the trainer of Romanova regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Romanova last raced on 26th July 2018. Mr. Duniam stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a cracked fibula.

Inga Ross was slow to begin. Ace's Fab, Aston Ranza and Rocket Strike collided on the first turn checking Aston Ranza and severely checking Ace's Fab. Air Commander, Quip Allen and Rocket Strike collided entering the back straight checking Rocket Strike. Quip Allen and Rocket Strike collided approaching the second turn. Ample Warning was slow to begin. Keely Run, Krupa and Sabjorn Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Keely Run. Krupa, Sabjorn Bale and Ample Warning collided on the first turn checking Krupa. Krupa and Keely Run collided approaching the home turn checking Keely Run. Krupa and Cruisy's Lil collided on the home turn.

Cruisy's Lil was vetted after falling when entering the catching pen. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Black Treasure was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right pencil and triangle muscles. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Hansen, the trainer of the greyhound Black Treasure regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Black Treasure with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Hansen pleaded guilty to the charge, Black Treasure was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Rollin' With It and a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Divirgilio, the trainer of Dealer Wins regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dealer Wins last raced on 24th June 2018. Mr. Divirgilio stated that that the greyhound was resuming racing after having a right hock injury.

Golden Sunrise and Dealer wins were slow to begin. Dealer Wins, Yogi Mikado and Noosa Jet collided approaching the first turn. Golden Sunrise, Yogi Mikado and Noosa Jet collided approaching the first turn checking Golden Sunrise. Dealer Wins and Winlock Intent collided approaching the home turn. Placid Warrior galloped on the heels of Little Dynamo approaching the winning post checking Little Dynamo.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Yeah Okay trialled over the 425mt from box 1, weight 31.9kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.93, the greyhound won by a margin of 1.75L. Yeah Okay was cleared.
