Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr B. Moles after the greyhound Viewing was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Stewards issued Mr Moles with a warning due to his good record and reminded when kennelling he ensures greyhounds are kennelled in accordance with kennel procedure.
Stewards spoke to kennel staff regarding the incorrect kenneling of a greyhound in this event. As a result of these inquires Stewards referred the incident to the Club Manager Mr A C Scott for further consideration.
A pre-race sample was taken from Gone Early.
Viewing was slow to begin.
Flashing Oaks and Perfect Hours collided soon after the start. Viewing, Flashing Oaks and Perfect Hours collided on the first turn checking Flashing Oaks and Perfect Hours. Tricky Trey checked off My Names Schultz approaching the home turn.
Stewards spoke to Mr L. Fulford the trainer of Gone Early regarding his mobile phone ringing whilst in the hands of the starter with the amber light on, delaying the start of the event slightly (GAR 44). Mr Fulford pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined the sum of $100.00.
