A pre-race sample was taken from Dewana Special.
Reign Of Omar and Dewana Special were slow to begin. Fast Izzi and Molly Chapta collided on the first turn checking Fast Izzi, Dewana Special, Dyna Carmen and Molly Chapta. Hot Tip and Reign Of Omar collided in the back straight checking Reign Of Omar. Reign Of Omar and Dewana Special collided approaching the third turn checking Dewana Special.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mrs Andrea Dailly about the impressive peformance of Lila Bale this evening. Mrs Dailly advised that Lila Bale was down in grade from recent starts in the Million Dollar Race series at Wentworth Park, was otherwise sound and the poor numerical form is not reflective of her ability/capabilities, which were displayed in full this evening after leading easily. The kennel did not wager/support Lila Bale in this race. A urine sample was taken from Lila Bale for analysis.
Stewards spoke to the camera operator regarding the positioning of the camera to the lead greyhound during this race.
