Fully Loaded was quick to begin.  Mepunga Bella, Main One and Buckle Up Rose collided soon after the start checking Main One.  Main One brushed the running rail on the first turn.  Mepunga Bella and Dyna Benny collided on the first turn checking Dyna Benny.  Mepunga Bella and Fully Loaded collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Jaclyn Bale was quick to begin.  Hit The Highway and Blusain Bolt collided soon after the start checking Hit The Highway.  Wise Piquet, Renaldo and Rockstar Stratus collided approaching the first turn checking Renaldo, Rockstar Stratus and Hit The Highway. Renaldo and Rockstar Stratus collided on the second turn.  Rockstar Stratus races ungenerously and gave ground approaching the third turn.  

Rockstar Stratus was disappointing, vetted as a result and was then revetted following Race 7 as no injury was revealed on the initial examinatio.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left pencil and triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mrs B. Ennis, Trainer of Rockstar Stratus.  Stewards deemed the performance of Rockstar Stratus unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Rockstar Stratus must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Splinter was slow to begin.  Bont's Magic, Splinter, Aston Utah, Zoom Out and Oh So Sleek collided soon after the start checking Bont's Magic and Splinter.  Base Camp and Ace Ventura collided on the first turn checking Aston Utah, Zoom Out and Oh So Sleek, severely checking Base Camp and causing Oh So Sleek to race wide.  Bont's Magic and Splinter collided on the second turn checking Revved Up Dee, Bont's Magic and Splinter.  Base Camp and Aston Utah collided in the back straight checking both greyhounds.  Bont's Magic and Splinter collided on the third turn checking Splinter.  Splinter faltered on the third turn checking Revved Up Dee.  Base Camp and Aston Utah collided in the home straight.

Zoom Out was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left torn nail, no stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Trainer Mrs Andrea Dailly about the impressive peformance of Lila Bale this evening. Mrs Dailly advised that Lila Bale was down in grade from recent starts in the Million Dollar Race series at Wentworth Park, was otherwise sound and the poor numerical form is not reflective of her ability/capabilities, which were displayed in full this evening after leading easily. The kennel did not wager/support Lila Bale in this race. A urine sample was taken from Lila Bale for analysis.
