Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Blusain Bolt.
Jaclyn Bale was quick to begin. Hit The Highway and Blusain Bolt collided soon after the start checking Hit The Highway. Wise Piquet, Renaldo and Rockstar Stratus collided approaching the first turn checking Renaldo, Rockstar Stratus and Hit The Highway. Renaldo and Rockstar Stratus collided on the second turn. Rockstar Stratus races ungenerously and gave ground approaching the third turn.
Rockstar Stratus was disappointing, vetted as a result and was then revetted following Race 7 as no injury was revealed on the initial examinatio. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left pencil and triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mrs B. Ennis, Trainer of Rockstar Stratus. Stewards deemed the performance of Rockstar Stratus unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Rockstar Stratus must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
