A pre-race sample was taken from Paua Te Kuri.
Molly Spolly crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Able Bess, Eduardo Rose and Galloping Leo. Able Bess was checked off Trap Queen on the first turn checking Dr. Condor. Silvagni Cubed, Trap Queen and Molly Spolly collided on the first turn checking Silvagni Cubed and Trap Queen. Silvagni Cubed was checked off Able Bess in the back straight. Paua Te Kuri and Trap Queen collided approaching the home turn. Trap Queen was checked off Paua Te Kuri on the home turn.
Meeting comments:-
Stewards spoke to Ms. Carolyn Jones after the greyhound Zipping Bomber was negligently placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Ms. Jones was reminded of her responsibilities when kennelling that she ensures greyhounds are kennelled in accordance with the kennel procedure.
Stewards spoke to kennel attendant Mr. C. Berkhout after the greyhound Zipping Bomber was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Mr. Berkhout was reminded of his responsibilities and asked to ensure that all greyhounds are correctly kennelled in future. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration.
