Steward's Report
Take Home Sadie was quick to begin. Aeroplane Tippa and Plumcad were slow to begin. Akina Moss and Aeroplane Tippa collided on the second turn. Ohana Sparkles and Take Home Sadie collided in the back straight, on the third turn, entering the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
Ohana Sparkles was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. R. Floyd the representative for Ohana Sparkles regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the third turn.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Bowman the trainer of Take Home Sadie and issued him with a warning after he failed to check the clearance to leave course form, which resulted in Mr Bowman removing Take Home Sadie from the kennels and leaving the course without Stewards permission. Stewards contacted Mr Bowman and directed him to return to the course with the greyhound which he did.
Take Home Sadie was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
