Steward's Report
Dyna Elana was quick to begin. Noonbarra Jack and Dyna Diode were slow to begin.
Wok Djay and Dyna Charee collided soon after start . Limburg Sprite checked off Dyna Eleana approaching first turn. Quara's Yoshi checked off Dyna Eleana on the first turn. Noonbarra Jack failed to pursue the lure on the first turn checking Dyna Eleana and Dyna Diode. Wok Djay and Limburg Sprite collided approaching the home turn checking Wok Djay and Dyna Charee and severely checking Limburg Sprite and Dyna Eleana. Quara's Yoshi checked off Limburg Sprite on the home turn checking Dyna Diode and Quara's Yoshi. Quara's Yoshi checked off Dyna Diode in the home straight.
Noonbarra Jack was vetted following the event and revetted following Race 4. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mrs M Turner, the handler of the greyhound Noonbarra Jack regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn . Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Noonbarra Jack with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs Turner pleaded guilty to the charge, Noonbarra Jack was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
