A pre-race sample was taken from Discovered.
Discovered and Swift Ruby collided soon after start. Bobby Tokaam and Big Gee Tee collided at first turn. Eden Lass checked off Yenderra Blue at first turn. Clouded Acorn galloped on the heels of Pyrenees Inferno on the home turn, checking Swift Ruby and severely checking Clouded Acorn and Pyrenees Inferno. Eden Lass and Swift Ruby collided approaching the home turn. Big Gee Tee and Clouded Acorn raced wide in the home straight.
Pyrenees Inferno was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
