Terrah Lecki was slow to begin.
Alabama Lane and Franklin Allen collided soon after the start. Alabama Lane crossed to the rail approaching the 200m mark. Franklin Allen and Monica's Joy collided at the 150m mark, checking Franklin Allen. Monica's Joy and Wild Bandit collided approaching the 50m mark. Krystal Parade eased approaching the winning post. Franklin Allen and Monica's Joy collided approaching the winning post.
Alabama Lane was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an inury to the right sartorius muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Graeme Campbell, the trainer of the greyhound Krystal Parade regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Krystal Parade was vetted and re-vetted following the event 10. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right chest muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Krystal Parade with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Campbell pleaded guilty to the charge, Krystal Parade was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
