This event was delayed 5 minutes to readjust a new on-track camera system to ensure it did not affect the Judges' photofinish image.

Don's Gas was slow to begin. 

Wild Vane and Cool Rhonda collided soon after the start. Don's Gas and Wild Vane collided at the 200m mark, checking Don's Gas. Terrah Fire and Don's Gas collided approaching the 150m mark. Tiara Jo and Cool Rhonda collided at the 150m mark. Golden Moon, Tiara Jo and Cool Rhonda collided at the 100m mark, checking Tiara Jo and Cool Rhonda. Terrah Fire and Fabredust collided approaching the 50m mark. Wild Vane and Ruby's Boy collided approaching the winning post. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Bernie Ender, the trainer of She Loves Me regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  She Loves me last raced on 29 June, 2018 and is returning to racing following a split webbing. 

Aztec Warrior was slow to begin.

She Loves Me crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Chloe Crumpet. She Loves Me continued to cross to the outside approaching the 200m mark, checking Manila Sprite. Electric Hippy, Anna Victorem and Liberal Jones collided approaching the 200m mark, checking Anna Victorem. Anna Victorem checked off Liberal Jones approching the 200m mark. 

She Loves Me was vetted following the event at the request of the trainer. It was report that the greyhound sustained a torn dew claw. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Terrah Lecki was slow to begin. 

Alabama Lane and Franklin Allen collided soon after the start. Alabama Lane crossed to the rail approaching the 200m mark. Franklin Allen and Monica's Joy collided at the 150m mark, checking Franklin Allen. Monica's Joy and Wild Bandit collided approaching the 50m mark. Krystal Parade eased approaching the winning post. Franklin Allen and Monica's Joy collided approaching the winning post. 

Alabama Lane was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an inury to the right sartorius muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Graeme Campbell, the trainer of the greyhound Krystal Parade regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Krystal Parade was vetted and re-vetted following the event 10.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right chest muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Krystal Parade with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Campbell pleaded guilty to the charge, Krystal Parade was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Big Tilly went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.

No Recourse crossed to the rails at the 300m mark, checking Gunna Be Hoping, Guevara and Kimura. Gunna Be Hoping and Guevara collided at the 250m mark. Gunna Be Hoping and Kimura collided at the 200m mark. Nostalgia and Silver Sky collided at the 150m mark. Guevara, Nostalgia and Silver Sky collided at the 100m mark, severely checking Silver Sky. No Recourse and Missy Meghan collided several times from the 50m mark to the winnng post. 

Big Tilly was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right carpal sprain and a right quadriceps injury and also noted to be in season. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

A sample was taken from Missy Meghan, the winner of the event. 

Triceps Brachii and Master Winslow were slow to begin. 

Able and Billy Swagger collided approaching the 300m mark. Billy Swagger checked off It Is Done at the 250m mark and collided with Master Winslow. 

A sample was taken from Miss Pocket Aces, the winner of the event. 

Big Bazza and Shimmy Dat Ray were slow to begin. 

Dazzling Liesel and Scrumble collided at the 300m mark. Shimmy Dat Ray and Dazzling Liesel collided at the 200m mark. 

A sample was taken from Subscapularis, the winner of the event. 

Quando Quando and Raloo Barbara collided soon after the start. Lightning Parade and Schusta collided soon after the start. Schusta and Raloo Barbara collided at the 200m mark, checking Raloo Brabara. Miss Booming checked off Cheeky Cindy at the 100m mark. 

Raloo Barbara was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right chest muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Speedy Ryder, Lektra Rival and Sweet Strike collided soon after the start. Loch Monster, Speedy Ryder, Lektra Rival and Sweet Strike collided approaching the 300m mark, checking Loch Monster, Lektra Rival and Sweet Strike and severely checking Speedy Ryder which stumbled and lost ground. Sweet Strike checked off Jiggy's Luck approaching the 50m mark. 

A pre- race sample was taken from Uncle Bump. 

Dr Marshmellow and Osti's Raider were slow to begin. Dr. Marshmellow, Osti's Raider and Dr Zammit collided soon after the start. Dr Zammit checked off Uncle Bump approaching the 250m mark. Bela Natali crossed to the outside at the 150m mark and collided with Uncle Bump. 

Fiery Nell and Uncatchable were slow to begin. Bourbon An Kahn crossed in soon after the start and collided with Dr Sherlock, severely checking Dr Sherlock which stumbled; Miss Gyspy Lee and Sandy Lagoon were checked as a result. Fiery Nell checked off Bourbon An Kahn at the 150m mark. Miss Gypsy Lee and Dr Sherlock collided at the 150m mark. Dr Sherlock faltered at the 100m and subsequently tailled off. Tamile Lass crossed to the rails at the 50m mark and collided with Miss Gypsy Lee. 

Dr Sherlock was vetted and re-vetted following event 12. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both Bicep muscles. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Midnight Muscat went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.

Zipping Amber and Crackerjack Mick collided soon after the start. Bloke's Advice and Zipping Amber collided soon after the start. Xtreme Notice crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Crackerjack Mick. Bloke's Advice and Crackerjack Mick collided at the 250m mark. Longshot Glory checked off Superior Scotch at the 200m mark. Doran's Grove raced wide throughout the event.

Agent Osti and Raging Inferno collided soon after the start. Mr Diaz and Renegade collided soon after the start. Agent Osti and Raging Inferno collided at the 250m mark. Mr Diaz checked off Major Gas approaching the 150m mark. Agent Osti and Dane Daisy collided at the 150m mark. Miss Premier checked off Mr Diaz at the 150m mark.

MEETING COMMENTS:

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Gregory Paez, the trainer of Vandebay regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Vandabay last raced on 6 February, 2018. Mr Paez stated that the greyhound is returning to racing following a change of kennel and a left hock injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Vandebay trialled over the 300m from box 2, weight 36.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 16.85, the greyhound beaten by a margin of 3.5L. Vandebay was cleared.

On Sunday, 16 September 2018, Stewards opened an Inquiry with licensed Trainer - Mr Robert Conway after it was reported that there was no Catcher for greyhound Galloping Flash engaged in Event 7.  Stewards today interviewed HGA Kennel Supervisor - Mr Robert Moles and licensed person - Mr Jye Formosa.  After hearing all evidence tendered, Stewards established that there was a breakdown in communication, and therefore not satisfied that any one person was directly at fault and took no action in the matter.
