Akina Moss was slow to begin.  It's A Date and Akina Willow collided soon after the start.  It's A Date and Nate's Awesome collided approaching the first turn checking It's A Date.  Akina Willow faltered on the first turn.  It's A Date faltered approaching the home turn.  Macs Road, Crakalakin Caity and Nate's Awesome collided approaching the home turn severely checking Crakalakin Caity which stumbled and lost considerable ground.

Crakalakin Caity was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness in the left shoulder and a laceration to the left hind toe, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

It's A Date was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 4,  it was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness in the right pencil and triangle muscles, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Akina Willow was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 6, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion and swelling to the left carpal joint, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Rowley, the trainer of the greyhound Akina Willow.  Stewards deemed the performance of Akina Willow unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Akina Willow must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ya Ya Ya, Colour My World, Akina Ivy and Akina Spice were slow to begin.  Ya Ya Ya and Colour My World collided soon after the start.  So Like Sooty contacted the running rail on the first turn severely checking So Like Sooty.  Ya Ya Ya checked off Colour My World on the first turn.  Akina Spice checked off Ya Ya Ya approaching the home turn.  So Like Sooty checked off Akina Spice approaching the home turn.

So Like Sooty was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hind toe and soreness in the right pencil muscle and left triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Alexagal was quick to begin.  El Burrito, Zipping Dozer and La Vagabonde were slow to begin.  Pinky Tuscadero and Zipping Hogan collided on the first turn.  El Burrito, Zipping Dozer and La Vagabonde collided on the first turn.  Pinky Tuscadero, Zipping Hogan and Almani Jet collided on the second turn.  El Burrito and Zipping Hogan collided approaching the home turn.  El Burrito, Pinky Tuscadero and Zipping Dozer collided approaching the home turn checking Pinky Tuscadero.  La Vagabonde veered out and marred Pinky Tuscadero on the home turn causing both greyhounds to run to the outside of the track and pull up.

Pinky Tuscadero was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 6, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

La Vagabonde was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hind toe injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Jones, the trainer of the greyhound La Vagabonde regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged La Vagabonde with marring.  Mr. Jones pleaded guilty to the charge, La Vagabonde was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cee Jay Ace was slow to begin.  Weeona Gina, Daisy Me Diggin', Dream Gem and Absolute Breeze collided soon after the start checking Weeona Gina and Daisy Me Diggin'.  Macalister Tiger, Dream Gem and Absolute Breeze collided on the first turn checking Absolute Breeze.  Macalister Tiger, Akina Cosmo and Dream Gem collided approaching the winning post checking Macalister Tiger.

Mr. D. Douch, trainer of Terpillar declared a new weight of 33.3kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Terpillar last raced at 31.8kgs.

Warrion Warrior and Hogwash were quick to begin.  Tahlia's Diamond was slow to begin.  Silvio Dante, Paddy's Cripp, Flash Frankie and Terpillar collided approaching the first turn checking Paddy's Cripp.  Tahlia's Diamond clipped the heels of Silvio Dante on the home turn.

Degani and Apache Flame were slow to begin.  Mega McKayla, Sapphire Power, Degani, Apache Flame and Buzz Rash collided on the first turn checking Sapphire Power and Degani.  Mega McKayla and Buzz Rash collided entering the back straight checking Mega McKayla, Buzz Rash and Degani.  Degani checked off Flawless Bling in the home straight.

Riviera Cruz was quick to begin.  Mepunga Bonnie was slow to begin.  Riviera Cruz, Navajo Bear and Perrie Lulu collided approaching the first turn checking Navajo Bear.  Perrie Lulu, Jesaulenko and Dr. Mino collided on the first turn checking Jesaulenko and Dr. Mino.  Jesaulenko and Dr. Mino collided approaching the home turn checking Jesaulenko and Riviera Cruz and severely checking Dr. Mino.

A sample was taken from Lyka Skywalker - the winner of the event.

Mr. L. Rowe, the trainer of Seminole Wind declared a new weight of 27.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Seminole Wind last raced at 25.6kgs.

Straitline Willy and Blue Tornado were slow to begin.  Krypto Jam, Seminole Wind and Flaming Brooke  collided on the first turn causing Krypto Jam to stumble.  Flaming Brooke, Super Serena and Straitline Willy collided approaching the home turn checking Flaming Brooke.  Flaming Brooke checked off Super Serena approaching the home turn.  Super Serena and Straitline Willy collided in the home straight.

Urban Bourbon was a late scratching at 3:08pm due to illness.  (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Charlie Cockatoo was quick to begin.  Beast and Akina Daisy were slow to begin.  Akina Daisy and Croucher collided approaching the first turn checking Akina Daisy and severely checking Beast.  Aston Tobin checked off Akina Daisy approaching the home turn.
