Crymelon Rip was quick to begin. Dyna Jules and Flame Slinger collided on the first turn. Orlando Cruise raced wide and stumbled approaching the home turn losing ground as a result. Gemilly and Crymelon Rip collided on the home turn. Blue Berty and Starc Gold collided in the home straight.
Orlando Cruise was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left deltoid muscle and right shoulder. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.
