Let Him Ride was very slow to begin (3L). Benny's Entity and Oh So Rowdy collided approaching the first turn checking Oh So Rowdy. Benny's Entity galloped on the heels of Forever Cousins on the first turn checking Forever Cousins, severely checking Gojek and Benny's Entity fell and contacted the outside rail. Rube's Ablaze and Chief Command collided approaching the home turn.
Benny's Entity was vetted following the event and revetted following event 8. It was reported that the greyhound sustained multiple abrasions, possible concussion and a right shoulder joint injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
