Stewards spoke to  Mrs. J. McMahon the representative for Dr. Murphy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Dr. Murphy last raced on 25/03/18.  Mrs. McMahon stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injury to both archillies tendons.

Dr. Murphy was quick to begin.  Oni was slow to begin.   We Love Spolly, Mega McKayla and Wash Out collided on the first turn checking We Love Spolly.  Darcon Flash was checked off Aston Narita on the first turn checking We Love Spolly.  Darcon Flash and Mega McKayla collided on the second turn checking Mega McKayla.  Aston Narita and Wash Out collided on the second turn checking Wash Out.  Mega McKayla was checked off Darcon Flash on the home turn.

All About Arby was quick to begin. Candy Rose was slow to begin.  Paua Te Kuri, Aquiam, Rhino Rex and Take Home Sadie collided soon after the start checking Aquiam, Rhino Rex and Take Home Sadie.  Paua Te Kuri and Wolfie's Sook collided entering the back straight checking Wolfie's Sook.  Rhino Rex and Take Home Sadie collided in the back straight checking Take Home Sadie.  Aquiam and Wolfie's Sook collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Aquiam was checked off Wolfie's Sook approaching the home turn.  Candy Rose and Aquiam collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

A pre-race sample was taken from Dr. Paulina.

Nitro Hook was slow to begin.  Valley Reaper and Vladimir Rose collided on the first turn checking Vladimir Rose.  Taylor Bale, Dr. Paulina and Nitro Hook collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Valley Reaper was checked off Daintree Dynamo entering the back straight severely checking Taylor Bale, Dr. Paulina and Nitro Hook causing all three greyhounds to lose considerable ground.

Twenty Tamar and Crickets Dash were slow to begin.  Milla Rose crossed in on the first turn checking Sharp Missile and Paisley and severely checking Twenty Tamar.  Omega Bonner crossed in on the first turn checking Crickets Dash and Gotcha Mate.  Gotcha Mate faltered entering the back straight and pulled up.  Sharp Missile galloped on Lucas Rose approaching the second turn.

Sharp Missile was vetted following an incident in the catching pen.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Gotcha Mate was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right triangle muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Weeona Pearl and Omega Vera collided soon after the start checking Omega Vera.  Loaded, Buzz Rash and Soda King collided soon after the start checking Buzz Rash and Soda King.  Fourth Dimention, Garrido and Loaded collided approaching the first turn.  Loaded was checked off Weeona Pearl on the first turn checking Buzz Rash and Soda King.  Loaded and Buzz Rash collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Loaded lost ground on the third turn.

Loaded was vettted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right triangle muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Neo Cleo was quick to begin.  Dobre was slow to begin.  Hazelwood Flyer and Mighty Josiah collided soon after the start.  Dobre galloped on Ruby's Cheekstar on the first turn.

A blood and urine sample was taken from Neo Cleo - winner of the event, which recorded a new track record of 34.036secs.

Secret Of Mine was a late scratching at 11.04am due to illness.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Alexagal.

Akina Blitz was slow to begin.  Courting and Sunny's Kayo collided approaching the home turn.  Courting and Sunny's Kayo collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Owlette marred Courting in the home straight checking Alexagal.

Courting was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Pollutro the representative of Owlette and issued him with a severe reprimand after he failed to check the clearance to leave course form, which resulted in Mr Pollutro removing Owlette from the kennels and leaving the course without Stewards permission. Stewards contacted Mr Pollutro and directed him to return to the course with the greyhound which he did.

Owlette was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Pollutro the representative for the greyhound Owlette regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Owlette with marring.  Mr. Pollutro pleaded guilty to the charge, Owlette was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A sample was taken from Vandagambo - winner of the event.

Wharfies Girl was a late scratching at 7.41pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Nicky Neo.

Nicky Neo was quick to begin.  Blackjack Neo was slow to begin.  Nicky Neo and McNeo collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Our Delta Rose and Nicky Neo collided on the first turn checking Our Delta Rose, Nicky Neo and Flywheel Alfie.  McNeo and Tito Mojito collided approaching the third turn checking McNeo.

Dissembler was quick to begin.  Wild Angel and Delta's Magic collided soon after the start checking Wild Angel.  Silvagni Cubed and Delta's Magic collided on the first turn checking Silvagni Cubed, Weeona Paul, Totally Bullish, Siver Lightning and Delta's Magic.  Delta's Magic, Weeona Paul and Totally Bullish collided in the back straight checking Weeona Paul.  Delta's Magic and Weeona Paul collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.

Stewards spoke to  Mr. R. Redenbach the trainer of Coolan Flash regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Coolan Flash last raced on 29/04/18.  Mr. Redenbach stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following left hock and right wrist injuries.

Indira's Girl and Issy Keats collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Poison Pen and Lektra Boss collided approaching the first turn checking Poison Pen.  White Line Lass, Our Aqua Blue and Coolan Flash collided on the first turn checking Lektra Boss, severely checking Coolan Flash, Issy Keats, White Line Lass and Our Aqua Blue causing Our Aqua Blue to fall, Poison Pen and Indira's Girl galloped on White Line Lass as a result causing White Line Lass to fall severely checking Poison Pen and Indira's Girl.  Issy Keats and Coolan Flash collided entering the home straight.

White Line Lass was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Our Aqua Blue was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Satisfactory trial results:-

Give Away King trialled over 395 metres from box 8, weight 32.3kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.01 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of .75 lengths.   Give Away King was cleared.  A sample was taken from this greyhound prior to the running of the satisfactory trial pursuant to GAR 83(2)(b).
