Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Mega McKayla upon arrival on course prior to kennelling.
Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Boreland the trainer of Wash Out regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Wash Out last raced on 18/05/18. Mr. Boreland stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left monkey muscle.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. McMahon the representative for Dr. Murphy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dr. Murphy last raced on 25/03/18. Mrs. McMahon stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injury to both archillies tendons.
Dr. Murphy was quick to begin. Oni was slow to begin. We Love Spolly, Mega McKayla and Wash Out collided on the first turn checking We Love Spolly. Darcon Flash was checked off Aston Narita on the first turn checking We Love Spolly. Darcon Flash and Mega McKayla collided on the second turn checking Mega McKayla. Aston Narita and Wash Out collided on the second turn checking Wash Out. Mega McKayla was checked off Darcon Flash on the home turn.
