Pre-race samples were taken from Freakish Talent and She Will Bloom upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Stewards spoke to Mr L. Karabitsakos, the trainer of Rico's Amore regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Rico's Amore last raced on17 July 2018 and is returning to racing from a seasonal spell, Mr Karabistakos also declared a new weight of 31.5kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Rico's Amore last raced at 30.3kgs.

Pre-race samples were taken from Antares Star and Crowdza Jumpin'. 

Antares Star was quick to begin.  Track Of Time, Freakish Talent and Crowdza Jumpin' were slow to begin.

Freakish Talent and Rico's Amore collided soon after the start.  Flash Fernando and She Will Bloom collided on the first turn checking She Will Bloom.  Freakish Talent and Rico's Amore collided approaching the second turn.

Post-races samples were taken from Rico's Amore (3rd placegetter), Track Of Time (4th placegetter), Flash Fernando (unplaced) and Weeona Youshi (unplaced).

All runners in this event were sampled.

Tigga Toy was a late scratching at 6.33am due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Weeona Roger was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Toy's Son, Bold and Telegraph Road were slow to begin.

Toy's Son and Telegraph Road collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Isn't She Sassy and Weeona Bulldozer collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn.  Crowdza Dancin', Weeona Bulldozer and Isn't She Sassy collided entering the back straight.  Telegraph Road galloped on Isn't She Sassy entering the back straight checking Telegraph Road.  Crowdza Dancin' faltered entering the back straight and tailed off as a result.  Isn't She Sassy and Weeona Bulldozer collided approaching the third turn and again approaching the winning post. 

Crowdza Dancin' was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Toy's Son - unplaced in the event.

Kraken Katie was a late scratching at 7.56am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Empress Rose and Rajasthan were quick to begin.  Sale Graze Bindi was slow to begin.

Midnight Mystery and Bro's Little Gem collided on the first turn.  Empress Rose and Rajasthan collided approaching the second turn checking Empress Rose.  Empress Rose and Bro's Little Gem collided entering the front straight.  Rockin' Joe and Sale Graza Bindi collided approaching the home turn.  Rajasthan failed to pursue the lure with due commitment entering the home straight collided with Rockin' Joe, Midnight Mystery and Sale Graze Bindi, checking Rockin' Joe.

Stewards spoke to Mr G. Joske, the trainer of the greyhound Rajasthan regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight.  Rajasthan was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left sesamoid injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Rajasthan with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Joske pleaded guilty to the charge, Rajasthan was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

 A post-race sample was taken from Rajasthan - winner of the event.  

Mepunga Debbie was slow to begin.  Little Bala was very slow to begin (4 lengths).

Noaki Colour and Shanlyn Georgie collided on the first turn.  McNeo and Noaki Colour collided approaching the third turn.  McNeo galloped Noaki Colour  on the third turn checking both greyhounds.  Mepunga Debbie and McNeo collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Shanlyn Georgie checked off Dr. Mortikye on the home turn.  

Little Bala was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left sesamoid and right deltoid injuries, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

This event was delayed by 2 minutes while Stewards clarified the reserve’s rug.

Soda King was slow to begin.

Buy Me Diamonds and Jetson Princess collided soon after the start.  Buy Me Diamonds, Jetson Princess and Beau Gem collided approaching the first turn checking Buy Me Diamonds and Jetson Princess.  Beau Gem, Winlock Ludacris and Dr. Abbie collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Jetson Princess checked off Soda King approaching the second turn.  Beau Gem and Winlock Ludacris collided in the back straight.

Post-race samples were taken from placegetters - Duce Royal (1st) and Buy Me Diamonds (2nd).

Shot Thru and Light The Track collided soon after the start.  Nicky Neo and Ace Allen collided approaching the first turn.  Flying Danger, Good Luck Mark and Come On Colour collided approaching the first turn.  Ace Allen checked off Light The Track entering the front straight checking Ace Allen and causing Ace Allen, Flying Danger, Good Luck Mark and Come On Colour to collide.  Nicky Neo and My Victoria collided entering the back straight.  Shot Thru checked off Nicky Neo in the back straight causing Shot Thru and Light The Track to collide.  Ace Allen and My Victoria collided approaching the home turn.  Light The Track and Nicky Neo collided entering the home straight.

This event was delayed by 2 minutes due to a Harness race at Kelleberrin.

Saint West and Mighty Josiah were slow to begin.  But What For was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Blistering Betty and Extreme Summer collided soon after the start.  Shady Max, Blistering Betty and Extreme Summer collided soon after the start.  Blistering Betty and Extreme Summer collided on the first turn.  Saint West and Shady Max collided on the first turn checking Shady Max.

Weeona Bont and Zelzer Allen collided soon after the start and several times to the first turn.  Pandaken and Zelzer Allen collided on the first turn.  Sweet As Emm contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Weeona Bont and Shanlyn Magic collided on the first turn.  Pandaken galloped on Weeona Bont approaching the third turn checking Sweet As Emm and severely checking Pandaken, Shanyln Magic fell as a result.

Shanyln Magic was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound right sartorius and right triangle injuries, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Macalister Mac and Ruby's Image were quick to begin.

Ledgerwood Road and Samsonite collided on the first turn.  Samsonite, Ledgerwood Road, Galloping Rokyto and Go Ekay collided on the first turn checking Ledgerwood Road and Samsonite, severely checking Galloping Rokyto which lost ground as a result.  Dr. Cadenza checked off Ruby's Image on the home turn.  Go Ekay checked off Dr. Cadenza on the home turn.  Ledgerwood Road failed pursue the lure with due commitment on the home turn and collided with Macalister, checking Dr. Cadenza and severely checking Ruby's Image.

Ruby's Image was vetted following the event.  It was reported that that the greyhound sustained a right sartorius injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Galloping Rokyto was vetted and re-vetted following event 12.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Ledgerwood Road was vetted and re-vetted following event 12.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mrs J. McDowall, the representative of the greyhound Ledgerwood Road regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Ledgerwood Road with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs McDowall pleaded not guilty to the charge, Ledgerwood Road was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Give Away King, Hot Fiasco and Winlock Dyno were quick to begin.

Hot Fiasco and Winlock Dyno collided soon after the start checking Winlock Dyno.  Walkin' The Walk galloped on Give Away King in the back straight checking Walkin' The Walk.

A post-race sample was taken from Hot Fiasco - winner of the event. 

Stewards spoke to the catcher of Hot Fiasco Mr G. Miller and issued him a warning after he failed to comply with GRV's dress code, LR 22.3(a).

Satisfactory Trial Results - Zipping Sassy trialled over the 515mtrs from box 1, weight 29.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 29.54, the greyhound won by a margin of 6 lengths.  Zipping Sassy was Cleared.
