Steward's Report
Mr P Sofra, trainer of Global Impact, declared a new weight of 37.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Global Impact last raced at 36.1kg.
Dyna Cortina and Wilbury were quick to begin. Dyna Helena and Global Impact were slow to begin.
Applied and Rail Remover collided approaching the first turn checking Rail Remover. Rail Remover contacted the rail on the first turn and lost ground as a result. Dyna Cortina checked off Wilbury on the first turn.
Rail Remover was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained shin soreness to the left foreleg and a left hindleg back muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
