Stewards spoke to Mr J. McDonald, the trainer of Our Bonnie Mac regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Our Bronnie Mac last raced on 20 May 2018. Mr McDonald stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a chest injury. Mr J McDonald, trainer of Our Bonnie Mac declared a new weight of 28.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Our Bonnie Mac last raced at 27.2kg.

Blackpool Funk checked off Kayla's Monaro soon after the start. Knockout Fantasy shifted out soon after the start checking Our Bonnie Mac, Honest Keithy and Kimmela. Honest Keithy checked off Kimmela approaching the first turn. Knockout Fantasy and Kayla's Monaro collided approaching the home turn. Knockout Fantasy checked off Kayla's Monaro on the home turn. Honest Keithy checked off No Respect in the home straight.

Crackerjack Koby was a late scratching at 6.05pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a left pencil muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Oshkosh Myles and Crackerjack Jase were slow to begin.

Nicmac Paddywack and Lektra Flirt collided soon after the start checking Nicmac Paddywack. Lektra Zephyr, Dyna Hannah and Lektra Flirt collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Hannah and Lektra Flirt. Oshkosh Myles checked off Dyna Hannah on the first turn. Oshkosh Myles checked off Nicmac Paddywack approaching the home turn. Dyna Hannah eased in the home straight and collided several times with Lektra Flirt.

Stewards spoke to Mr. T Mitchell, the representative of the greyhound Dyna Hannah, regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Dyna Hannah was vetted and re-vetted following race 7. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right pencil muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Dyna Hannah with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. T. Mitchell pleaded guilty to the charge, Dyna Hannah was found  guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Attack Plan was slow to begin.

Lady Bystander checked off Latinize on the first turn. Yoppi Allen checked off Latinize on the first turn. Dyna Khloe checked off Stavros approaching the home turn. Yoppi Allen checked off Dyna Khloe on the home turn and collided heavily with Lady Bystander. Dyna Khloe and Latinize collided approaching the winning post.

Zipping Cisco was slow to begin.

Zipping Cisco,Wilby Allen and Shadrock collided soon after the start checking Wilby Allen. Silver Cupcake, Showgirl Queen and Paid Too Much collided on the first turn severely checking Paid Too Much. Falconetti and Paid Too Much collided on the first turn checking Paid Too Much.

Big Deal was slow to begin.

Dyna Bonnay and Crackerjack Doug collided approaching the first turn checking Big Deal and Come On Charlize and severely checking Crackerjack Doug. Come On Charlize checked off Big Deal on the first turn.

Urana Smacko, Poor Old Frank, Binions and Noosa Jet collided soon after the start checking Urana Smacko, Binions and Noosa Jet. Star Hunter checked off Our Didda on the first turn. Poor Old Frank and Star Hunter collided entering the home straight.

Urana Smacko was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a sprained wrist to the left and right foreleg and left shoulder injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr P Sofra, trainer of Global Impact, declared a new weight of 37.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Global Impact last raced at 36.1kg.

Dyna Cortina and Wilbury were quick to begin. Dyna Helena and Global Impact were slow to begin.

Applied and Rail Remover collided approaching the first turn checking Rail Remover. Rail Remover contacted the rail on the first turn and lost ground as a result. Dyna Cortina checked off Wilbury on the first turn.

Rail Remover was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained shin soreness to the left foreleg and a left hindleg back muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Speed Star was quick to begin.

Zoom Out and Dyna Bitey collided soon after the start checking Zoom Out. Hot Devil checked off Don't Quote Me approaching the first turn. Shima Mart and Don't Quote Me collided on the first turn causing Shima Mart to contact the rail and lost ground as a result. Dyna Bitey raced wide entering the home straight.

Shima Mart was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Perfect Zuma raced wide soon after the start. Blackpool Nugget checked off Middle Chic on the first turn also checking Perfect Zuma. Winlock Slim and Julana collided approaching the home turn checking Winlock Slim. Julana eased and shifted in in the home straight, colliding several times with Deneholme Dasher, causing Deneholme Dasher to contact the running rail and lose ground.

Blackpool Nugget was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hind toe, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Deneholme Dasher was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found

Julana was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Ms. D Massina, the trainer of the greyhound Julana regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Julana with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms Massina pleaded guilty to the charge, Julana was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Awesome Shep checked off Eureka Creek approaching the first turn also checking Love Laughing. Blackpool Blast checked off Go Natalie Go on the first turn. Bloke's Advice,Eureka Creek and Why Not Bazzar collided on the first turn checking Eureka Creek. Whip Allen and Love Laughing collided on the first turn checking Whip Allen. Eureka Creek and Awesome Shep collided approaching the home turn. Bloke's Advice and Go Natalie Go collided entering the home straight. Blackpool Blast checked off Eureka Creek in the home straight.

Chief's Sidekick checked off Winlock Strecker on the first turn. On Billy's Wings checked off Chief's Sidekick approaching the home turn.

Lucille Dior checked off Ants In Pants approaching the first turn. Alouette Jack galloped on Tashendo on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. Why Not Macca checked off Feelin' Seedy on the home turn. Myrniong Cosmo and Feelin' Seedy collided entering the home straight. Tashendo raced wide in the home straight.

Tashendo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the hind paws.  No stand down period was imposed.

Alouette Jack was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr D Fisher, the trainer of All Inn Fergi regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. All Inn Fergi last raced on 3/4/18. Mr Fisher stated that the greyhound was new to his kennel. Pursuant to GAR 77A, All Inn Fergi trialled over the 390m from box 3, weight 38.2kg, the greyhound was placed 1st  in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.66, the greyhound won by a margin of 1.5L. All Inn Fergi was Cleared.
