Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Zipping Tex on 24 July 2018.
A pre-race sample was taken from Daisy Me Diggin'.
Hot Spuds and Cruzin' were quick to begin. Covfefe, Lava Lamp and Zipping Tex were slow to begin.
Hot Spuds checked off Cruzin' approaching the first turn. Enhanced Power checked off Terrah Round approaching the first turn and collided with Daisy Me Diggin'. Terrah Round contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and lost ground. Enhanced Power and Daisy Me Diggin' collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Daisy Me Diggin' and Covfefe, and severely checking Enhanced Power; Covfefe raced wide as a result. Zipping Tex raced wide approaching the home turn.
Terrah Round was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.
