Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr B. Mackie, the trainer of Radiant Angel regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Radiant Angel last raced on December 24th 2017. Mr Mackie stated the greyhound was returning to racing following a seasonal spell.
A pre race sample was unable to obtained from Radiant Angel. A post race sample was subsequently taken.
Rocket Tears was slow to begin. Radiant Angel and Aston Kimetto collided soon after the start. Aston Kimetto crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Lilywhites which collided with Radiant Angel. Off The Bit checked off Hurricane Wayne on the first turn and raced wide as a result. Aston Kimetto checked off Hurricane Wayne entering the back straight, approaching the third turn and on the third turn. Aston Kimetto crossed to the rail approaching the home turn checking Hurricane Wayne. Lucille Dior raced wide on the home turn.
